IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT LIGHTS: Please note that lights are sold separately and can be purchased through your preferred retailer. We designed this kit to work with a wide range of 3" pod lights, but for the optimal fitment and performance we recommend Baja Designs Squadrons. Unfortunately, Baja Designs discontinued the original Squadron lights at the end of April 2026, and they have now released Squadron 2.0s. Unfortunately, the 2.0s are quite a bit larger and they do not fit within the confines of these Ram grilles. They likely can be made to fit, if you don't mind modifying the kit by sanding out the holes more or adding spacers on the brackets, but they won't sit nearly as flush as the original Squadrons. Even though the original Squadrons are not available on Baja Designs' website anymore, there are still plenty of off road shops and online retailers carrying them, so we recommend buying the lights quickly before they actually do sell out. These kits will still work with some other Baja Designs "knock off" pods though, as well as Auxbeam 3" pods. For Diode Dynamics SS3 lights, they require special brackets that we have designed and have in-stock. Please contact us for more details regarding those specialty brackets.

100% Bolt On Installation!

This kit was specifically designed for an easy DIY install and requires absolutely no cutting or drilling. Simply swap grilles, fasten the SKT Customs' brackets to the truck using the supplied hardware, bolt your lights to the SKT Customs mount, and secure your wires to the brackets with zip ties.

Spread the Light!

The design of SKT Customs' mount ensures the LED pods follow the curvature of the factory grille to spread light evenly across the terrain; and they are adjustable vertically to achieve the best performance possible no matter if your truck has some factory rake or a bit of "cali-lean."

Light Pods vs. Light Bars:

The advantages of using light pods instead of light bars are endless.

Most light bars have a flat profile that don't follow the curvature of the grille, and they have just one beam pattern, one power output, one color, etc.; but with individual pods you can:

Choose different beam patterns to meet your specific needs
Change lenses from clear to amber depending on driving conditions or the look you're after
Choose the performance tier you want for each light to maximize value

Here's an example: Let's say you want to run 5 Baja Designs Squadrons with your kit but you're not sure which ones to choose. If you're someone who rarely leaves the pavement, you might choose to do a pair of Amber SAE Squadrons (street legal fog lights), combined with 3 Clear Squadron Sports for some extra visibility on dark back roads. Alternatively, if you're someone who wants the best performance possible off-road then you may want to run 2 Squadron Racers (long distance) and 3 Squadron Pros for a spectacular combo. The point is, with pods you can pick and choose exactly what models, beam patterns, and colors fit your goals and your budget the best. Model Restrictions:

This kit fits 2019-2024 Ram 1500 DT Tradesman, Bighorn, Laramie, Longhorn, and Limited models
These grilles work with trucks equipped with and without parking sensors. The kit includes black plugs for the sensor holes on trucks without sensors
Will not fit Ram Rebels or TRX models due to their slimmer lower grille that will not fit 3 inch LED pods
Will not work with Ecodiesel motors due to the active lower grille shutters that feed air into the intercooler

Light Restrictions:

Our Lower Grille Light Mounting Kit has been optimized for Baja Designs' Squadron lights (sport, pro, racer, SAE) but will work with some other brands, such as Auxbeam, and some knock offs; however, there are a few disclaimers:

Lights must be less than 3.10" diameter. Some "3 inch” pods out there measure larger than this and will not fit - Lasfit and Diode Dynamics pods are an example of this. We do have special brackets for the Diode Dynamics SS3 Lights, so contact us if you're wanting to use those lights. Please be sure to research accordingly if you do not plan on running the lights we have hyperlinked above that we have confirmed to fit.
Depending on what lights you choose, you may need to add small spacers and longer bolts (not included in this kit) to the mounts to move them forwards or backwards, in order to position the lights in the grille properly.
Baja Designs Squadron 2.0s are not advised with this kit. They will not fit as flush as the Squadron 1.0s and may require additional modifications to the kit to angle the lights properly. The 2.0s are larger and a slightly different shape than the standard 1.0s. We recommend getting 1.0s, as they are still available at plenty of off road shops and online retailers.
